The acceleration of and access to technology is impacting every industry and individual. Gaps in some areas are widening, while others are closing, putting the world at the edge of more of our fingertips and pushing us into an unrecognisable age. One where those who walked our pavements and sat in our homes 100 years prior would be lost or consumed by the array of options and pace of our lives.

But amidst the rate of rapid change taking place, many of us are trying to press pause, in an attempt to preserve our human flaws instead of optimising each moment. This conscious decision to “Plug Out”, momentarily of course, presents itself as the great divide of our time. A counter strike to the ongoing arrival of new and emerging tech.
WHERE DO YOU STAND?
Whether these acts of ‘resistance’ & ‘defiance’ are in fact tactics devised by those traumatised by tech to delay delude or a distract ourselves from an inevitable future, it gives us all an alternative option to consider. The future is loading, uncertainty is pending and for sure the culture is changing. Leaving most of us caught in the middle of Plugging In & Plugging Out.
